Professor Jizhong Zhu, IEEE Fellow South China University of Technology, China Biography: Jizhong Zhu is a Professor of South China University of Technology, and National Distinguished Expert. He is an IET Fellow, IEEE PES Smart Building, Loads, Customer Systems Technical Committee member, Chair of IEEE SBLC Load Subcommittee, Chair of IEEE SBLC Asia-Pacific Working Group, IEEE SMC Technical Committee on Intelligent Power and Energy Systems Technical Committee member. He is also an Expert of IEEE 2030.9 Standard WG on Micro-grids, Expert of International Electrotechnical Commission WGs IEC SEG6, IEC TC22 AHG1, IEC TC22 AHG2, respectively, and Chair of IEEE Standard IEEE P2781 - Load Modeling and Simulation for Power Systems. Dr. Zhu has worked at ALSTOM Grid Inc. in Washington State, Howard University in Washington, D.C., the National University of Singapore, Brunel University in England, and Chongqing University in China. He was a Senior Principal Power Systems Engineer as well as a Fellow with ALSTOM Grid Inc., and an honorable advisory professor of Chongqing University. He has published six books as an author and co-author, as well as about two hundred papers in the international journals and conferences. His research interest is in the analysis, operation, planning and control of power systems, smart grid, power markets as well as applications of renewable energy. |  |
Professor Ting Yang School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Tianjin University, China Biography: Prof. Ting Yang, doctoral supervisor, is a discipline leader in the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Tianjin University. He is the deputy director of the national "distributed energy and micro grid" international science and technology cooperation base and the deputy director of Tianjin "Energy Internet” International Joint Research Center. As the largest contributor, he has won two provincial and departmental science and technology progress awards and some enterprise science and technology progress awards. He has published more than 100 SCI/EI papers, 4 monographs and 2 international invention patents in top academic journals in China and abroad. He has served as the session chair of several IEEE international conferences. He also served as the editor in chief or member of the Editorial Committee of several SCI journals. He is the special editor in chief of "Application of artificial intelligence in power system and energy Internet"(which won him the "Outstanding Special Editor Award" in 2018) of “Journal of Power System Automation”, and the special editor in chief of "Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things (UPIOT)" of “Journal of Power Construction”. He is now the deputy director of circuit and system branch of China Electronics Society, the national director of sensor sub committee of China Instrumentation Society and a member of the theoretical electrician special committee of China Electrical Engineering Society. His main research interests include energy & power, Internet of things, artificial intelligence and intelligent manufacturing. |  |

Prof. Yang Yue Xi’an Jiaotong University, IEEE Senior Member Prof. Yang Yue received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering and optics from Nankai University, China, in 2004 and 2007, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California, USA, in 2012. He is a Professor with the School of Information and Communications Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China. Dr. Yue’s current research interest is intelligent photonics, including optical communications, optical perception, and optical chip. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed journal papers (including Science) and conference proceedings with >9,000 citations, five edited books, two book chapters, >50 issued or pending patents, >170 invited presentations (including 1 tutorial, >20 plenary and >30 keynote talks). Dr. Yue is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE). He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Access, and an Editor Board Member for three other scientific journals. Assoc. Prof. Pavel Loskot Zhejiang University-University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Institute (ZJUI), China IEEE Senior Member Pavel Loskot joined the ZJU-UIUC Institute in January 2021 as the Associate Professor after being nearly 14 years with Swansea University in the UK. He received his PhD degree in Wireless Communications from the University of Alberta in Canada, and the MSc and BSc degrees in Radioelectronics and Biomedical Electronics, respectively, from the Czech Technical University of Prague in the Czech Republic. He is the Senior Member of the IEEE, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK, and the Recognized Research Supervisor of the UK Council for Graduate Education. His current research interest focuses on problems involving statistical signal processing and importing methods from Telecommunication Engineering and Computer Science to other disciplines in order to improve the efficiency and the information power of system modeling and analysis. |

Prof. Dong Li Faculty of Information Technology Macau University of Science and Technology Avenida Wai Long, Taipa, Macau SAR, China Dong Li received the Ph.D. degree in electronics and communication engineering from Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, China, in 2010. Since 2010, he has been with the Faculty of Information Technology, Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), Macau, China, where he is currently an Associate Professor. He held a visiting position with the Institute for Infocomm Research, Singapore, in 2012. His current research interests focus on Backscatter Communications, Intelligent Reflecting Surface-Assisted Communications, and Machine Learning for Communications. He is a recipient of the 2011, 2016, and 2019 MUST Bank of China (BoC) Excellent Research Award. He is currently an Executive Board Member of IEEE Macau Section. |

Dr. Wan Nor Shuhadah Wan Nik Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin, Terengganu, Malaysia Dr. Shuhadah is currently a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Informatics and Computing, University Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Malaysia. She received a PhD in Computer Science (Distributed Systems) from University of Sydney, Australia in 2012 before appointed as a Deputy Director (Infrastructure & Services) at Information Technology Centre, UniSZA from year 2014 - 2017. She has been involved in more than ten research grants and lead four national grants in the area of Distributed Systems. Her main research interest includes the area of Computer Networks and Distributed Systems, including Scheduling in Grid / Cloud and Utility Computing, Wireless Sensor Network, IoT, Heuristics and Optimization and Blockchain.
